Food Truck Fun in Cherokee County!

The Food Truck craze has hit Cherokee County and we are not mad about it!! In fact, our towns are planning full events around these mobile treat trucks! Food Truck Friday in Andrews & Third Thursday in Murphy are filled with unique food options, live music, and a chance to explore the small businesses in our Downtown areas a little later into the evening.

Food Truck Friday (5pm-8pm) has been an annual Summer staple in Andrews for going on 3 years now and it only gets bigger and better with time! Located in Hall Park, the streets are shut down and filled with an array of food truck options, crafts, and vendors! Picnic tables and chairs are set up in the green space in front of the live music pavilion. Enjoy your meal with a beverage from a local wine vendor or pop across the street to Snowbird Mountain Brewery and grab a freshly poured draft beer! The combination of great food and drink, live music, and a stunning mountain view make setting aside every second Friday of the month (April-September) to attend totally worth it!

Third Thursday (5pm-8pm) is a new evening event held in Downtown Murphy on Valley River Avenue the third Thursday of every month (May-September). With a variety of tasty local food trucks lining the street, local businesses staying open a little later, and live music in the Fain Alley, this event is a guaranteed good time and an excuse to avoid dirtying your kitchen!
