Cherokee County Tourism Grant

The Cherokee County Tourism Development Authority (TDA) has been a vital community sponsor for events, trails, festivals, and various other projects aimed to draw tourism and locals alike for several years now. While the TDA has never sought recognition or gain, aside from drawing in additional tourism to the area, the TDA board felt it was important to highlight the positive and immense impact tourism and the TDA have on our local economy. This concept brought to light the “Cherokee County Tourism Grant”, a grant designed to focus on “increasing awareness of the Cherokee County Tourism Development Authority and the positive economic drive tourism creates within our Community.”, examples of concepts that would apply to this grant could be anything from an outdoor music event space to assisting in the development of a new hiking trail. On behalf of the Cherokee County Tourism Development Authority, we thank you for considering us in your vision for the betterment of tourism in Cherokee County. Mission Statement:
Because of the successful marketing campaigns, the TDA creates to generate tourism in Cherokee County, it is our mission to act as a donor through this grant to work with local non-profit/s within the community to continue to increase the number of “heads in beds” and additional tourism, to increase awareness of the Cherokee County Tourism Development Authority and the positive economic drive tourism creates within our Community.
